Data Conversion />
Data translation is the conversion
of one form of data to another, successful data conversion
requires thorough knowledge of the workings of both source and
target formats. Data Standards knowledge of the structure of
many data formats and databases maintain its ability to easily transform from
one to another and back again.
Single sourcing allows the
creation of documents in various formats from the same content.
For example, a company might use the same content in online
help, a printed document and a web feed, with a single source
solution, the company only has to update the one source file for
the content and Data Standards regenerates the outputs.
Data Standards single source
solutions do not require human intervention to customize the
formatting or content for the various outputs. Using our XML
technology we receive
Word documents from the
publisher and return PDFs for print, XML for the web, database or content management system, and
Word Documents in their
original format or restyled to suit another authoring process,
this allows the content to be reusable and make it future proof.
Another example is where content
of publications are stored in an XML repository and needs to be
subbed out to multi authors in
Word document format,
Data Standards can translate and retain the
DTD elements as styles in the
finished document, after the editorial stage has been completed
these documents can be converted back into XML files. Data
Standards listens to your requirements and provides a solution
to suit your needs, whether Database Files, Word Processor
files, SGML, HTML, XML, or various image formats, we can design
a customised DTD and convert your data. |
